Pozar: The Holy Bible for all the important RF concepts (ECE422 & 424 use this)
I recommend Chapters 10 and 14 (Noise and Satellite Links) as the most applicable to our UTAT day-to-day
Chapters 1-4 for a more theoretical understanding of the fundamentals
Pozar. Microwave Engineering.pdf
Balanis: The Holy Bible for Antennas specifically
Chapters 1-2 give a great understanding of the main characteristics all antennas share
then pick and choose the chapter of antennas that interest you most! We use patch antennas which are a type of microstrip antenna and parabolic dishes which are a type of reflector.

Here some papers related to “feasible” circular CP patch antenna design.
“Open question”: where we can get the material related to actual antenna design? We could consider it as basic benchmark for working on improvements with the new design.
