For the actual satellite, the Electrical and Mechanical teams are building a custom battery pack to house our 4 Lithium Ion batteries. This won’t be ready for a while, which is inconvenient because we want to be able to plug our batteries in and test them ASAP. Is there something we can buy (i.e. something like the photo below) or make (i.e. a PCB) to achieve this goal? That’s your job to figure out. If you realize that you need other information during your investigations, feel free to ask.
I will provide a wide range of options from large manufacturer options to commercially available testers to what appears to be step by step instructions for how to build a tester.
