@David : came across this. Maybe we can find a way to convert from ZAR/ZMX to CODE V’s Hidden Lens Module (HLM):

- Like a zip of all the required files
Seems like opening ZMX files is usually not a problem, but ZAR can cause problems in Zemax as well if your Zemax isn’t updated to the newest version (?)
- ZAR includes all the files needed to open a ZMX, including the ZMX file (e.g., AGF, STEP, coating files, etc.) [https://sites.google.com/site/danreiley/loading-files]
  - Maybe there’s a way to “unzip” the ZAR file and just take the ZMX file from it?
Not sure if this is application to us, but CODE V doesn’t seem to support Zemax files that have a non-sequential component in them [https://community.zemax.com/got-a-question-7/zemax-file-to-code-v-file-conversion-1030]

Sent an email to CODE V support and they pretty much said ZAR to CODE V isn’t possible…

CONCLUSION: This isn’t going to work unless we have Zemax
