Space Systems Head of Brand and Media
Position Overview
UTAT-Space Systems is currently seeking a proactive and visionary Head of Brand and Media to oversee all aspects of Space System’s image within the club, University, and beyond. With our large Division exploring novel applications of technology, we want to ensure that our work is being properly represented to the public. The Media Lead is responsible for Space System’s social media content, website content, and product development (i.e. merch)
As the Space Systems Brand and Media Lead, you will work closely with the Space Systems Head of Outreach as well as the core UTAT Brand and Media Team. You act as a liaison between the Division and the Director of Brand and Media (currently @Carrie Ann Po). You may also work with Business Development in fulfilling sponsorship requirements. You will regularly coordinate with Media Leads from other Divisions to curate a cohesive visual identity for UTAT as a whole.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Space Systems and the UTAT Brand and Media team by attending biweekly (TBD) meetings with the Core Media Team and holding discussions with Space System’s Leads.
- Collaborate with the Director of Brand and Media and other Divisional Leads on a content plan for the school year, ensuring equitable representation of Divisions
- Continuously develop Space Systems material consistent with UTAT branding, including, but not limited to:
- Social media posts
- Videos
- TV screen ads/Desktop backgrounds
- Merchandise and attire
- Business cards
- Website content
- Photography (including events and of team members for the website)
- Assist in communication and branding to sponsors and other partnerships, external outreach, leadership development and professional networking events; this involves communicating closely with Outreach and Head of Finance & Business Development
- Attend UTAT Space Systems events, within reasonable capacity, to perform media coverage
- Oversee a small but dedicated team of creatives to develop and represent Space Systems through various forms of content
