Completely forgot this is even something we need to license. Can't work on it immediately.

Bahen talks are well underway but we're facing a lot of red tape. Seems as though this is more of a FINCH thing RE timeline concerns. In the meanwhile, exploring a potential HERON ground station location in Elmvale with some friends, roughly 120km north of Toronto. Wide open farm space and whatnot.

Licensing process seems to be covered very thoroughly at this link for the ISED application: https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/sf01940.html (go to Section 6)We just need to organize some info from Annex B in this link, and then send that to the "nearest regional office". There's literally 100 pieces of info, and some of them require thinking so I'll need a bit of time to collect everything. The only thing I still don't know, is what we're going to do for the ITU. As far as I am currently aware, the ITU has their stuff for this but its hard to find too much info about it.

Based on the last message sent by Ian, it seems that we're currently waiting on a finalized setup/mechanical diagram which we'll submit to the Bahen people and then they'll respond to that.

We're no longer proceeding with the Bahen roof due to concerns surrounding lengthy approval times. To expedite the ground station design & assembly process, we'll be setting the ground station up on a farm north of Toronto.
