“Ultra-low supply current” (at 3V), 55nA w/ crystal oscillator

• measure voltage from power to ground (should be 3V)

• don’t think a multimeter can measure such small currents (maybe?)

  • This is a bit wonky, I can’t add another resistor in series because thats gonna decrease the current
    • Maybe use a small valued resistor in series with the power pin
    • then measure the voltage across that resistor (assuming that the current has not been changed by the addition of the resistor, calculate current based on known resistance

• If its possible to measure small current w/ the multimeter:

  • Is it just possible to put the ammeter in series between vcc and the power jumper

  

Power on Characteristics:

Can check the following characteristics w/ the oscilloscope

Advanced crystal calibration to ± 2 ppm

• Not sure if the equipment of the lab can measure to an accuracy of 32.768 kHz BUT it might be smart to just hook the clock up to an oscilloscope and measure that the clock frequency is approximately 32.768 kHz
  • Hook one end of the scope to ground and the other end to XI or XO, we can try both realistically

Integrated ~1Ω power switch for off-chip components such as a host MCU

• We’re using an external transistor so its not really important to test this

• instead we should test the resistance and voltage drop across the transistor

  • measure voltage drop across transistor, and extra power consumption

• load switch resistance

  • voltage drop across transistor
