We need a flexible PCB that can connect from our payload, the FLIR TAU, to the Pay-Elec board. The signal lines are either 5V or 3V3 and needs to operate at high speeds (around 70MHz). The cable shall be no longer than 24 inches as per the datasheet, and the final length will be determined by #structures at a later date.
For further information concerning the speeds and feeds of the camera, you can see the datasheet here: https://flir.netx.net/file/asset/16670/original/attachment
The cable shall use a Hirose #DF12(5.0)-50DP-0.5V(86) connector; however, due to that part being discontinued, the Hirose DF12NB(5.0)-50DP-0.5V(51) will be used instead. Both sides shall terminate in this connector, to create a F-F extension cable of sorts.
To facilitate a smaller cable, only certain connections need to be made. Specifically, any line that begins with CAMLINK
may be omitted. Grounds may also be combined if that is convenient, but the cable must remain electrically identical to a 1-1 cable.
