Description

For the FINCH mission's mission control front-end design, the project will involve integrating telemetry, command or modes of operations requirements into OpenMCT, ensuring the interface is capable of displaying and managing real-time data and system statuses, as well as able to send required commands.

Tasks

• [ ] Gain a comprehensive understanding of OpenMCT’s capabilities, documentation, and existing interfaces to leverage its full potential for custom telemetry visualization (Learn OpenMCT)

• [ ] Go through the list of telemetry, commands & operations requirements for FINCH to identify the types of data that need to be monitored and what sorts of commands will need to be sent

  • Need to know the script the data will be sent in / how it will be structured - can then be connected to whatever
  • Need to know who we’re getting the data from: ground station will get signal and send to a database
  • Need to figure out what we’re doing with the data
  • Need to figure out the outputs we need to give
