Description

The lithium ion batteries that we are planning on using: https://batteryservice.bg/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/INR21700-50E.pdf are not UL listed (google what this means) which is not ideal according to the CubeSat Design Specification 14.1. Your job is to “shop around” for lithium ion batteries that we could use instead of these ones that are UL listed and make a table comparing them. Some things to keep in mind are:

• it’s a good idea to learn about lithium ion batteries before you start so that you get a better idea what characteristics are good to include in your comparison table
• the closer the mechanical and electrical characteristics are to the ones we already have (linked above), the better. https://somanytech.com/18650-battery-specifications-datasheet-18650-battery-specs/

• [ ] Write down the numbers for these batteries, for reference to identify potential suggested batteries
