Purpose

Since we choose the ADCS-10m from Tensor Technology, We need to redesign the ADCS system to fit the Tensor Tech design. Please read this document carefully before working with ADCS-10m

In this document, I will put the necessary procedures that need to be done. Keep an eye on “WARNING” and “RECOMMEND” notes

General Descriptions

List of hardware:

Actuators:

  1. CMG-10m Control Moment Gyroscope (main actuator for pointing) x1
  2. Triaxial magnetometer (For de-tumbling and momentum dumbing) x3

Sensors:

  1. FSS-15 Fine Sun Sensor (For idle) x 6
  2. MEMS gyroscope (For pointing) x 1
  3. PNI3100 3-axis magnetometer module x 1
  4. Star Tracker (For fine pointing) x1

Computer:

  1. ADCS Micro-Controller, 32-bits (Serve as the main ADCS controller) x 1
  2. Driving circuit board x 1

Calibration software developed by Tensor Tech will be prepared

Best within 3 years, but since FINCH mission only 1 year. This is good.
