UTAT’s Space Systems Division is recruiting a new Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) Lead ****for the FINCH CubeSat Mission. FINCH is a remote-sensing nanosatellite carrying a hyperspectral imaging camera for crop residue mapping. We are currently in phase C detail design and will move to phase D Assembly, Integration and Testing.
The Attitude Determination and Control System is a fundamental component of every satellite mission. The objective of the attitude control system is to maintain the spacecraft's orientation within the desired limit with respect to a reference frame. The capability to actively control a spacecraft's attitude empowers the UTAT space system to utilize the FINCH eyes payload. The ADCS Lead’s responsibility is to help FINCH accomplish its mission objective and meet the set requirements.
