The mechanical team is looking into moving the Splitter/Combiner next to the Star Tracker to give the payload more space. We haven’t designed a way to mount it yet, but there are two main options for how we can place it.
Dimensions
Right now, there is 165.52 mm of space for payload + payload backpack
With this change, there will be 180.52 mm of space for payload + payload backpack
(not including tolerances)
